Your Family Session
Family photo sessions with Laurine are easygoing and child-led, with just enough structure to help everyone feel comfortable. The result is imagery that feels natural and unforced, the kind that actually looks like your life.
That might mean your toddler never stops moving, the baby needs feeding halfway through, or the dog decides it belongs in every photo. That’s all part of it. There’s no expectation for anyone to behave a certain way or get it “right.” Laurine works around what’s happening, gently stepping in when it helps and stepping back when it doesn’t.
Family sessions can be just you at home with a new baby, out for a walk with the dog, or somewhere meaningful you spend time together. They can also include grandparents, cousins, or the whole extended family coming together for a reunion. These sessions are about documenting relationships as they are.
Laurine keeps things relaxed, talks to everyone like a friend, and makes space for real moments to happen. What you’re left with are photographs that feel familiar and honest, and that make sense years from now when you look back at this chapter of your family’s life.

Focus & Style
Laurine’s focus is on photographing families in a way that feels natural and relaxed. Sessions move at an easy pace, with space for children to be themselves and for parents to settle into the moment. A little guidance is offered when it helps, but the emphasis stays on what is already there rather than directing every detail.
There is no rush to get through a list of shots or force moments to happen. The pace is calm and responsive. Babies are held, soothed, and fed when needed. Parents are encouraged to stay close, talk, laugh, and move naturally. There is guidance throughout, but it is subtle and responsive.
Her style is warm, natural, and light-filled, with an emphasis on soft tones and real colours. Outdoor settings, natural light, and simple styling allow the focus to stay on faces and connection. The photographs feel lived-in and familiar, as if they could have happened on a good day together rather than during a formal session.
The final images are edited carefully by hand. No faces are run through AI software and no moments are smoothed into something they were not. The aim is to preserve the feeling of this stage of family life, so the photographs continue to matter as time passes and still bring you back to how it felt to hold each other close.
