Outdoor mother’s day photo sessions
This March, I’m offering a small series of relaxed, intimate portrait sessions to celebrate motherhood in all its forms: mums with little ones, grown children and their mothers, generations together, families who haven’t had a photo together in years…
You don’t need 200 random images. You need three or four great photographs that you’re all in together, taking some time out.
Why this matters? We’ve automated our lives so much that we’ve forgotten the feeling of flipping through an old, physical photo album like we used to, back in the nineties (the good old days). This is your excuse to take a break.

Sessions will be held outdoor at Crickley Hill in Birdlip. There is paid parking on site, as well as a café and restrooms. The shooting location is accessible with a pram or pushchair.

Since these are relaxed, outdoor sessions, I keep a close eye on the forecast. If the weather is truly unworkable (heavy rain or storms), we will move the session to my available date at no extra charge. I will make the final call 24 hours before your session to ensure you have plenty of time to plan.
Comfort is key to keeping the session relaxed and full of life. I recommend sticking to a neutral, earthy palette. Think creams, tans, browns, or soft blues that complements the outdoor setting. Avoid heavy logos or bright neon colours, as these can distract from the genuine feeling of the portraits. Layers and knits are wonderful in photos.
Absolutely. While your session includes 4 high-quality edited images of your choice, you will likely have a gallery of 15+ photos to view. If you fall in love with more, you can purchase additional digital images for £25 each or choose to upgrade to the full gallery. I also offer professional print and album upgrades directly through your online gallery for those who want to turn their digital files into tangible heirlooms.
